Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- Water, as directed on the cake mix box
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping or heavy cream, whipped
- 10–12 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream or milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- Prepare the cake batter using the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water as directed. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cake springs back when touched.
- While warm, invert the cake onto a kitchen towel dusted with powdered sugar. Peel off the parchment and roll up the cake with the towel. Let it cool completely.
- For the filling, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and crushed Oreos.
- Unroll the cooled cake and spread the filling evenly. Re-roll the cake without the towel.
- Melt white chocolate chips with cream or milk in short bursts in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over the cake roll.
- Let the drizzle set before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use a jelly roll pan or a rimmed baking sheet to keep the cake layer thin and flexible.
- Extra crushed Oreos can be added to the filling or sprinkled on top.
- Rolling the cake while warm helps prevent cracks.
- If the cake cracks slightly, use the filling and drizzle to hide imperfections.
