Description
Frozen peanut butter yogurt bites dipped in dark chocolate and topped with chopped peanuts. These easy-to-make treats are creamy, sweet, and perfect for a quick snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- ⅓ cup natural peanut butter
- 6 ounces dark chocolate chips
- ¼ cup salted peanuts, chopped
- 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Mix Greek yogurt and peanut butter in a large bowl until smooth. Add maple syrup if desired for extra sweetness.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop small portions of the mixture onto the sheet and gently flatten each into a thin round.
- Freeze the rounds for 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in short intervals and stirring frequently until smooth.
- Dip each frozen yogurt round into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off, then place back on the parchment paper.
- Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top while the chocolate is still soft.
- Freeze again for 1 to 2 hours until the chocolate is fully set.
Notes
- Use almond or cashew butter instead of peanut butter for a different flavor.
- Add extra maple syrup for a sweeter version.
- Swap dark chocolate with white chocolate for a softer taste.
- Leave off chopped peanuts for a nut-free topping.
- Store in freezer for up to 3 months in an airtight container.
