Description

Ritz Cracker Chicken Casserole is a creamy, comforting baked dish made with tender shredded chicken and topped with a buttery golden cracker crust—perfect for quick family dinners or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • sleeves Ritz-style buttery crackers, crushed
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 2½-quart baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter until evenly coated. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, green onions, and thyme. Mix well.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Top with the cracker mixture, spreading it evenly over the surface.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly with a golden topping.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
