Ingredients
- 1½ sleeves Ritz-style buttery crackers, crushed
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 2½-quart baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter until evenly coated. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, green onions, and thyme. Mix well.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Top with the cracker mixture, spreading it evenly over the surface.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly with a golden topping.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
