Ingredients
- 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 2 tablespoons (6–8 g) fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon (8–10 g) fresh garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Finely chop the rosemary and mince the garlic.
- Place softened butter in a small mixing bowl.
- Add rosemary, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Use a fork to mash and mix until fully combined and evenly distributed.
- Serve immediately or shape into a log using parchment paper.
- Roll tightly, twisting the ends to secure.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour to firm up or freeze 6–8 hours until solid.
- Slice into rounds as needed and serve.
Notes
- Use roasted garlic for a milder flavor.
- Substitute dried rosemary (2 teaspoons) if fresh is unavailable.
