Description

A rich and aromatic rosemary garlic butter made with fresh herbs, garlic, and a touch of lemon, perfect for enhancing breads, meats, vegetables, and more.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons (68 g) fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon (810 g) fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the rosemary and mince the garlic.
  2. Place softened butter in a small mixing bowl.
  3. Add rosemary, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Use a fork to mash and mix until fully combined and evenly distributed.
  5. Serve immediately or shape into a log using parchment paper.
  6. Roll tightly, twisting the ends to secure.
  7. Refrigerate at least 1 hour to firm up or freeze 6–8 hours until solid.
  8. Slice into rounds as needed and serve.
