Description
Easy no-bake peanut butter treats made with oats, honey, and chocolate chips, shaped into tree-like mounds. Perfect for a quick, sweet snack with salty-sweet flavor.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup creamy salted peanut butter
- ¼ cup honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
- 1 ½ cups rolled oats
- ⅓ cup chocolate chips (or more to taste)
- A pinch of salt
- Optional: 2–3 tablespoons chopped nuts, dried fruit, or seeds
Instructions
- In a large bowl, stir together peanut butter and honey until smooth and combined.
- Add oats, chocolate chips, salt, and any optional mix-ins. Mix well.
- Scoop about a heaping tablespoon of the mixture and shape into tree-like mounds or balls. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store in the fridge.
Notes
- If mixture is too dry, add 1–2 teaspoons more honey or a splash of nut milk.
- Crunchy peanut butter adds texture if desired.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate for a richer treat.
- Can be frozen for up to 3 months and thawed before serving.
