These Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents are a quick, savory pastry filled with creamy sausage mixture and wrapped in buttery crescent dough. They’re perfect for breakfast, brunch, or party snacks and ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in onion powder and cream cheese until smooth and well combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
- Spoon the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and roll toward the point.
- Place rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 11–14 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Add shredded cheddar cheese to the filling for extra richness.
- Use spicy sausage or add red pepper flakes for a kick.
- Finely chopped green onions add a fresh flavor twist.
- Best served warm, but great as leftovers too.
- Can be frozen after baking and reheated in the oven.
