Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small cabbage, shredded
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and onion softened. Drain excess fat.
- Add the shredded cabbage and cook for 2–3 minutes to begin wilting.
- Stir in diced tomatoes with juice, cooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and simmer for 4–5 minutes to combine flavors.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 35 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes to lightly caramelize the top.
- Let rest a few minutes before serving.
