Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground chuck (80/20)
- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
- 1½ jalapeños, finely diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4–6 burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles
- Optional condiments: mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat grill to 190–200°C (375–400°F).
- Mix ground beef with spices gently.
- Divide into 8 portions and flatten into patties.
- Add cheese cubes and jalapeños to half the patties.
- Top with remaining patties and seal edges.
- Grill burgers 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Toast buns lightly on grill.
- Assemble burgers with toppings and serve hot.

- Seal edges well to prevent cheese leakage.
- Avoid overmixing the meat for tender burgers.
