Ingredients
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 1 cup cooked ground beef, seasoned to taste
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, seasoned with Cajun spice
- 1 1/2 cups nacho cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread the tortilla chips evenly across a large baking sheet.
- Distribute the cooked ground beef evenly over the chips.
- Add the Cajun-seasoned shrimp on top of the beef and chips.
- Drizzle the nacho cheese sauce evenly across the nachos.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
- Use thicker tortilla chips to prevent them from becoming soggy.
- Cook shrimp separately before adding to the nachos to avoid overcooking.
- Add toppings like jalapeños, diced tomatoes, or olives for extra flavor.
- Pepper jack cheese can replace cheddar for a spicier version.
- Reheat leftovers in the oven rather than the microwave to keep chips crispy.
