Description
Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sliders are bold, cheesy, pull-apart sandwiches made with shredded chicken tossed in buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and melty cheese—all baked between soft slider buns and brushed with garlic-herb butter.
Ingredients
- 9 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or brioche)
- 2 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie, canned, or homemade)
- 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo hot sauce
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese (or Swiss, provolone, Monterey Jack)
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (for butter)
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 baking dish or tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well.
- Place bottom halves of slider buns in prepared dish.
- Spread chicken mixture evenly over buns, then sprinkle with cheese.
- Top with the upper halves of the buns.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush over tops of buns.
- Cover dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5–10 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- Add blue cheese crumbles or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Swap buffalo for barbecue sauce for a milder version.
- Store leftover chicken filling separately to avoid soggy buns if prepping ahead.
- Make dairy-free using plant-based cheese and butter.
- Air fry assembled sliders at 400°F for 8–10 minutes.
