Description

This Taco Cheese Ball Wreath is a bold, creamy appetizer made with seasoned cheese, fresh herbs, and veggies shaped into a festive wreath. It’s easy to make, no-bake, and perfect for parties or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, diced
  • ¼ cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature until softened.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, green onions, and cilantro until well combined.
  3. Lay plastic wrap on a flat surface and transfer the cheese mixture to the center. Shape into a ring or wreath, using a small bowl in the center as a guide if desired.
  4. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight until firm.
  5. Unwrap and place on a serving platter. Top with diced red and green bell peppers, extra cilantro, and jalapeño (if using).
  6. Serve with tortilla chips or your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • Use pepper jack for a spicier version or Monterey Jack for a smoother melt.
  • Add smoked paprika or chipotle powder for extra depth.
  • Serve with crackers, pretzels, or veggie sticks for variety.
  • Let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before serving for easier scooping.
  • Wrap leftovers tightly and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
