Description
These Ultimate Cheese Stuffed Sliders feature juicy seasoned beef with a melty cheese center, cooked to perfection and served on soft slider buns. They’re ideal for parties, weeknight dinners, or game day snacking.
Ingredients
- 2 lb lean ground beef (90/10 or 93/7)
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 8 oz cheese of choice (cheddar, mozzarella, or American), cut into small cubes
- Slider buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions
- Optional condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
Instructions
- Place ground beef in a large bowl. Add olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide beef mixture into small portions. Flatten each into a thin patty.
- Place a cheese cube in the center of half the patties. Top with remaining patties and seal edges tightly.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook sliders 3–4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
- Let rest for 2 minutes. Serve on slider buns with desired toppings and condiments.
Notes
- Don’t press down on the patties while cooking or the cheese may leak.
- Use firm cheese cubes (about 3/4-inch) for best melting results.
- Stuffed patties can be prepped ahead and stored in the fridge until ready to cook.
