Description

A light, hydrating, and refreshing summer drink made with fresh watermelon, lime juice, and mint. Naturally sweet and bursting with cooling flavors, perfect for hot days or as a quick mocktail.

Ingredients

2 cups watermelon chunks and juice (about half of each; top off with water if needed)

1 lime, juiced

1 sprig fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Place watermelon, lime juice, and mint leaves in a blender.
  2. Blend until very smooth.
  3. Pour over ice and serve immediately for the freshest flavor.
  4. For a slushy version, freeze the watermelon cubes ahead of time or blend with ice.

Notes

  • Add a teaspoon of honey, sugar, or agave for extra sweetness.
  • Blend frozen watermelon cubes instead of fresh for a frozen treat.
  • Make it boozy by adding 2 ounces of vodka, rum, or gin for 2 strong drinks or 4 lighter ones.
  • Add frozen berries for extra flavor and deeper color.
  • A pinch of sea salt can enhance sweetness and add electrolytes.
