Description

These ultra creamy 3 ingredient chocolate popsicles are rich, silky, and deeply chocolatey with a smooth texture and absolutely no ice crystals. Made with dark chocolate, butter, and heavy cream, they are an easy frozen dessert perfect for summer treats and chocolate cravings.

Ingredients

  • 120 g dark chocolate (54% cocoa or higher)
  • 30 g unsalted butter
  • 200 g heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Break the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it into a small saucepan with the heavy whipping cream.
  2. Warm the mixture over low heat while stirring continuously until the chocolate begins to melt.
  3. Add the unsalted butter and continue stirring until the mixture becomes smooth, glossy, and fully combined.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat immediately once smooth.
  5. Allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly until warm but not hot.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag or measuring cup with a spout.
  7. Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds, filling them almost to the top.
  8. Insert popsicle sticks into the center of each mold.
  9. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully solid.
  10. To remove the popsicles, run the outside of the molds under warm water for 5 to 10 seconds.
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Use high-quality dark chocolate for the best flavor and texture.
  • Allow the mixture to cool before freezing to reduce ice crystal formation.
  • Milk chocolate can be used for a sweeter popsicle.
  • Add vanilla extract or sea salt for extra flavor depth.
  • Store popsicles in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
  • Silicone molds or paper cups work well if popsicle molds are unavailable.
