Description

Fun and indulgent brownie tacos with soft, fudgy chocolate shells filled with a creamy peanut butter filling, perfect for a creative dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
  • Chopped peanuts (optional)
  • Melted chocolate drizzle (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet mixture to form a smooth batter.
  6. Spread batter thinly on the prepared tray.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until set but still soft.
  8. While warm, cut into circles or ovals and drape over a rolling pin or bowl edge to shape tacos. Let cool completely.
  9. For filling, beat peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  10. Add heavy cream gradually and whip until light and fluffy.
  11. Fill cooled brownie shells with the peanut butter mixture.
  12. Top with chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, or melted chocolate if desired.

Notes

  • Shape brownie shells while still warm to prevent cracking.
  • Store shells and filling separately to maintain texture.
  • Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture.
  • Try fillings like chocolate mousse or whipped cream for variation.
  • Add fruits like bananas or strawberries for a fresh twist.
  • Store assembled tacos in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Freezing is best for shells only, not the filled tacos.
