Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Caramel drizzle, optional
  • Chopped apples, optional
  • Toasted pecans, optional
  • Extra cinnamon sugar, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a pizza pan or baking sheet.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough onto the prepared pan and press the seams together to form one crust.
  3. Brush melted butter evenly over the dough.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  6. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth to make the icing.
  8. Let the baked pizza cool for about 5 minutes.
  9. Drizzle the icing over the warm pizza.
  10. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Puff pastry can be used instead of crescent roll dough for a flakier texture.
  • Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.
  • Add sliced apples or chopped nuts before baking for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
  • Freeze slices without icing for up to 2 months.
