Description

A rich, creamy, no-bake brownie batter dip made with cream cheese, whipped topping, brownie mix, and chocolate chips for an easy chocolate dessert perfect for parties and snacking.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
  • 18 ounces boxed brownie mix, dry
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Graham crackers, for serving
  • Pretzels, for serving
  • Strawberries, for serving
  • Banana slices, for serving
  • Apple slices, for serving
  • Vanilla wafers, for serving
  • Marshmallows, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese into a large mixing bowl and beat with a hand mixer until completely smooth.
  2. Add the thawed whipped topping and mix until fluffy and fully combined.
  3. Add the dry brownie mix and milk. Mix slowly at first, then increase speed until smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips using a spatula, reserving a few for garnish if desired.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
  6. Serve immediately with graham crackers, pretzels, fresh fruit, cookies, or marshmallows.

Notes

  • For extra food safety, heat-treat the brownie mix before using.
  • To heat-treat brownie mix, bake it at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes and let it cool completely.
  • If the dip becomes too thick, stir in additional milk one tablespoon at a time.
  • Stabilized homemade whipped cream can be used instead of whipped topping.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • For best texture and flavor, enjoy within 24 hours.
  • Freezing is not recommended because the texture may become watery after thawing.
  • Add crushed cookies, peanut butter chips, or caramel drizzle for flavor variations.
