Quick and delicious handheld pizza pockets with a golden crust, gooey melted cheese, and flavorful sauce—perfect for snacks, lunches, or easy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough (about 230 g)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (120 ml)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (100120 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: sliced olives, diced bell peppers, cooked chicken pieces, or halal beef pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll crescent dough into triangles or roll out pizza dough and cut into rectangles.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each piece, leaving edges clear.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and add optional fillings.
  5. Fold dough over filling and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Place on baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle oregano and garlic powder.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

  • Do not overfill to prevent leaking.
  • Seal edges tightly for best results.
  • Brush with garlic butter instead of oil for extra flavor.
