Quick and delicious handheld pizza pockets with a golden crust, gooey melted cheese, and flavorful sauce—perfect for snacks, lunches, or easy dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or pizza dough (about 230 g)
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (120 ml)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (100–120 g)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: sliced olives, diced bell peppers, cooked chicken pieces, or halal beef pepperoni
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll crescent dough into triangles or roll out pizza dough and cut into rectangles.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each piece, leaving edges clear.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and add optional fillings.
- Fold dough over filling and seal edges with a fork.
- Place on baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle oregano and garlic powder.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
