Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup (84 ml) honey
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- In a clean jar, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved and ingredients are combined.
- Add the olive oil to the jar.
- Seal the jar tightly and shake vigorously for 1–2 minutes until emulsified.
- Check consistency; it should be smooth and slightly thick.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Use immediately or store in the refrigerator.
