Description

A creamy and comforting dessert made with flaky crescent dough layers, sweet vanilla cream cheese filling, cinnamon sugar topping, and a warm honey drizzle.

Ingredients

  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces each)
  • 2 packages cream cheese (8 ounces each), softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar for filling
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar for topping
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • Nonstick cooking spray for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one tube of crescent dough and press into the bottom of the dish, sealing seams.
  3. Beat cream cheese until fluffy, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add 3/4 cup sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom crust.
  6. Place the second crescent dough layer over the filling and pinch seams together.
  7. Mix softened butter, remaining 3/4 cup sugar, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  8. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the top crust.
  9. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Remove from oven and drizzle honey over the warm pie.
  11. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Chilling helps the filling set for cleaner slices.
  • Use full-fat cream cheese for the richest texture.
  • Serve chilled or slightly softened at room temperature.
  • Add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra crunch.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator.
