Description

These Strawberry Greek Yogurt Bites are creamy, refreshing frozen treats made with fresh strawberries, protein-rich Greek yogurt, and naturally sweet honey for a healthy and satisfying snack.

Ingredients

  • 5 large strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon mini dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon crushed nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon shredded coconut (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a small baking tray or plate with parchment paper.
  2. Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the tops, and slice them into thick rounds or halves.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt and honey until smooth and creamy.
  4. Dip each strawberry piece into the yogurt mixture, coating all sides evenly.
  5. Place the coated strawberries onto the prepared parchment-lined tray without touching.
  6. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips, crushed nuts, or shredded coconut if desired.
  7. Freeze the tray for 2 to 3 hours, or until the yogurt coating is firm.
  8. Serve immediately or transfer the bites to an airtight freezer-safe container for storage.

Notes

  • Dry the strawberries thoroughly before dipping to help the yogurt stick better.
  • Vanilla Greek yogurt can be used for additional sweetness and flavor.
  • Blueberries, raspberries, bananas, or pineapple chunks work well as substitutes.
  • Add chia seeds or granola for extra texture and nutrition.
  • Maple syrup can replace honey if preferred.
  • Store frozen bites in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
  • Place parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking.
  • Let the bites sit at room temperature for 1 to 2 minutes before eating if you prefer a softer texture.
