- 1/2 cup thick mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard paste
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce or 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice or vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey or sugar (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise and tomato ketchup until smooth and creamy.
- Add mustard paste and chili sauce or red chili flakes, stirring well.
- Mix in lemon juice or vinegar for tanginess.
- Add garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Stir thoroughly.
- If desired, add honey or sugar for a slightly sweeter flavor.
- Fold in the chopped parsley.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more chili sauce for extra heat or ketchup for sweetness.
- Cover and refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
- Serve with burgers, fries, nuggets, sandwiches, wraps, or fried snacks.
Notes
- Chilling the sauce helps the flavors blend together beautifully.
- Use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder for a stronger flavor.
- Smoked paprika can be added for a smoky twist.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Do not freeze, as mayonnaise-based sauces may separate after thawing.
