Description

A warm, creamy chia pudding made with almond milk and naturally sweetened with maple syrup, offering a cozy and nutritious vegan breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place a medium pot over medium-low heat.
  2. Add almond milk and chia seeds, stirring well to combine.
  3. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent clumping.
  4. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
  5. Add more almond milk if a thinner texture is preferred.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in maple syrup, vanilla extract, hemp seeds, and cinnamon.
  7. Mix thoroughly and transfer to a serving bowl.
  8. Add desired toppings and serve warm.

Notes

  • Stir frequently to prevent chia seeds from clumping.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
  • Use coconut milk for a richer texture or oat milk for natural sweetness.
  • Add cocoa powder for a chocolate variation.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
